Our mission
Why IKAZE exists — and what we stand for.
Ikaze is Kinyarwanda for welcome. Since 3 October 2019 a cultural association in Vienna has carried the name too — Rwandan in its roots, open to everyone who joins.
We put on concerts, dance nights and film evenings in Vienna, we run workshops, and for 2027 we are planning a group journey to Rwanda. Behind all of it sits the same idea: people who would otherwise never meet spend an evening together.

Culture
Concerts, dance, film. We put the evenings together ourselves and we stage them in Vienna.
Education
Workshops, talks and seminars. We learn as much in them as we pass on.
Encounter
Member nights and celebrations. Come once, and the second time you already know people.
