Talent: Braiding
Elizabeth discovered braiding at boarding school, where the students learned to do one another’s hair because there was no hairstylist around. What began out of necessity became a hobby: in the holidays she watched tutorials and practised on a mannequin. For her, braiding is more than doing hair. It is a creative outlet and a way to express herself, closely tied to African culture, and she loves seeing the confidence a finished hairstyle can bring.
